Bundesinstitut fuer Berufsbildung (BiBB) = Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training
BiBB is Germany's national centre for research into the development of initial and continuing vocational education and training (VET). Content on the website includes information about the centre's research programme and database, a listing of occupations and training profiles, links to an online searchable catalogue of publications and BiBB media releases. The main website is in German with a link provided to an English language version.
Centre d'etudes et de recherches sur les qualifications (C'ereq) = Center for Research on Education, Training and Employment
The centre undertakes research and statistical surveys on the training-employment relationship and the acquisition and certification of vocational skills and job mobility. Content on the website includes further information about the Centre, it's research, latest news, databases and a documentation portal. European Training Foundation (ETF)
The ETF is an agency of the European Union based in Turin, Italy. It aims to support transition and developing countries (those outside of the Europan Union) through the reform of their education, training and labour market systems. Content on the website may be searched by country and territory or by thematic area e.g. qualification framework. Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training (KRIVET)
KRIVET is involved in conducting policy-oriented research on a national basis in the areas of VET, industrial labour policy, VET and the qualification system, and the development, provision and evaluation of VET programs. KRIVET has an English language version of their website with further information about KRIVET, their research and projects including links to full-text documents and a bulletin board listing the latest news and events.
National Center for Career and Technical Education (NCCTE)
The NCCTE has a consortium of members whose main focus is on career and technical education at local, state and national levels in the United States. National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER)
The NCVER is Australia's principal provider of vocational education and training (VET) research and statistical information to governments, the sector, industry and the community. SEAMEO VOCTECH
Located in Brunei Darussalam, SEAMEO VOCTECH aims to strengthen the vocational and technical education and training (VTET) systems in SEAMEO Member Countries in Southeast Asia through collaborative efforts incorporating research and development, programme initiatives, networks, partnerships, and information services. The website provides access to further information about the organisation and its programmes, services and projects. UNESCO-UNEVOC International Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)
The Centre assists UNESCO's 192 member states to strengthen and upgrade their technical and vocational education and training (TVET) systems. It is a specialised Centre for TVET and the hub of a worldwide network of TVET institutions.
